1. Overview
PunchMate is designed so that information entered into or created with the app remains under the user's control. A PunchMate account is not required.
2. User Content
"User Content" means all information and content entered into or created with PunchMate. All User Content is stored locally on the user's device and, when iCloud is available, in the user's private iCloud account.
We do not operate a separate server that receives or stores User Content. We cannot independently access, view, retrieve, modify, or delete User Content stored on a user's device or in the user's private iCloud account.
User Content is processed only as necessary to provide PunchMate's features and iCloud synchronization. It is not used for analytics, advertising, profiling, artificial intelligence training, or any other secondary purpose.
3. Technical Services
PunchMate uses a limited number of third-party services that may process technical information needed to operate and maintain the app. These services are not used to analyze User Content:
"Technical Data" means limited pseudonymous usage, diagnostic, device, and purchase information processed through these services. It may include service-generated app or purchase identifiers, but it does not include User Content or direct personal identifiers.
- Apple and iCloud provide the App Store, private storage, and synchronization.
- Firebase Analytics provides limited, pseudonymous app-usage analytics.
- Firebase Crashlytics provides crash and error diagnostics.
- RevenueCat manages purchases, subscriptions, trials, and access to paid features.
We may access Technical Data through Firebase and RevenueCat dashboards. We use it only for basic product measurement, reliability, and purchase management. Apple handles payment processing, and we do not receive full payment-card details.
Where GDPR applies, Oleksandr Momotiuk is the data controller for Technical Data processed on our behalf, and Firebase and RevenueCat act as data processors. Our legal bases are our legitimate interests, where permitted by law, in maintaining PunchMate and measuring basic product use, and performance of a contract for purchases and requested support. These providers may process data outside the EEA using applicable contractual safeguards. Apple processes information under its own terms and privacy policy.

4. Support Communications
If someone contacts us for support, we receive the contact details and message sent to us. This information is separate from User Content stored in PunchMate and is used only to respond to the communication, maintain necessary records, and comply with legal obligations.
5. Retention and Privacy Rights
We do not set the retention period for User Content because we do not hold or control it. User Content remains under the control of the user and Apple through the user's device and private iCloud account.
Technical Data is retained only as long as needed for the purposes described above. Analytics data follows the retention period configured in Firebase and Google Analytics, Crashlytics reports are generally retained for 90 days, and purchase records are retained as needed to manage purchases and meet legal obligations. Support communications are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for support and legal compliance.
Where GDPR applies, users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal data we control, object to processing, withdraw consent where used, and complain to their local data protection authority. Requests can be sent to luckybeansapps+punchmate@gmail.com. We will also instruct the relevant provider where necessary and where the associated record can be identified.
6. Children
PunchMate is a professional productivity tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the minimum age required by applicable law.
7. Changes and Contact
We may update this Privacy Policy as PunchMate or applicable requirements change. We will update the "Last updated" date on this page and provide additional notice when required by law.
